When you want berries to eat sometimes you just have to go and find them. There is only one problem. Wombat is very afraid of the outside world. Anything could happen out there! He could get eaten by a crocodile out in the danger zone. After all he looks like a tasty sausage to his less than vegetarian neighbours but he was sooooo hungry.
Luckily for him his friend Roo knows where to find some juicy berries but that means facing his fears. He had to stop hiding his head in his burrow and take on the world.
A tale of perseverance, bravery and friendship. Full colour illustrations like a picture book but slightly longer great for a fast read or and introduction to novels.
